    This service is a full scan of the interior of home which can locate:
  • Moisture or water intrusion which can be or already be causing mold growth which can cause respiratory problems and illness.
  • Energy losses, drafty windows, walls, doors, ceilings, and any air infiltration point, causing the home to feel uncomfortable and
increase utility bills.
  • Missing insulation or inadequately insulated areas of the home.
  • Disconnected or leaky HVAC ductwork which can increase heating and cooling bills and make some rooms to feel
warmer or colder than others.
  • Electrical problems; poor connections and overloaded circuit breakers which could lead to higher electric bills and electrical fires.
  • Plumbing leaks.
  • Rodent and pest infestation (if active).

    This service includes:
  • Exterior visual assessment of the building envelope.
  • Assessment of attic insulation and ventilation if accessible.*
  • Infrared survey of interior of the home.
  • Infrared moisture scan for water intrusion.
  • Infrared survey of electrical panel under load with multiple components running to assess for overloads or faulty connections which can
    increase electric bills.
  • 40 miles of travel time and expenses. (see travel/mileage for more info bottom page)
  • Infrared images and comparative digital photos are taken throughout the home of any problem areas.
  • Image processing time (all infrared and digital images are edited and copied onto CD and mailed to client within 5-7 business days
  • after receiving payment.)
*(some attics are not intended for walking about, attempting so could cause damage to the home and injury to the inspector. These attics are inspected from hatch opening)

    (Rates are based on a typical 3-4 bedroom 2.5 bath w/ a 2 car garage and one HVAC system. Homes with additional bathrooms, garages and
    HVAC systems may be priced slightly higher.)
